The President’s Thoughts….

Today, as soon as I set foot in the premise I remember those days in 1942, after passing the 4th standard from Arjuni’s primary school, I had to go to Wardha due to lack of facilities for further education. At that time, Wardha was the ‘Home Town’ of the freedom movements, so I was fortunate enough to hear the speeches of the national leaders from 1942 to 1949. The culture of that was deeply rooted in my mind. In 1948, while I was attending the immersion of Mahatma Gandhiji’s ashes at Pawnar, we established a group of friends at Ramnagar in Wardha and all of us resolved to do something for the welfare of society in our lives. The fulfillment of that resolution was the establishment of ‘Agyaram Madan Gopal Shikshan Sanstha’ in 1982 and the establishment of Saraswati Vidyalaya under it.
In the rural areas good education should be given to children and children should be accustomed to behaving in a disciplined manner. The seed was planted from the convent. The seeds sprouted, the plant grew, leaves and branches flourished. The tree grew, flowers bloom, and now fruits are starting to appear. It has been 25 years since the establishment of the school. I did not even realise how time has passed. During this period of 25 years, the School has made good progress in the field of education in Bhandara and Gondia districts. The teachers of the school, the executive board of the institution have played an important role in this and it is only through their hard work that the success has been achieved today.
I would like to express my gratitude to all those who have supported us in the progress of the school.I pray to Goddess Saraswati that the school continues to make such progress in the future!
